Carriage of Prevotella by pregnant mothers protects against food allergy in the child at one year of age – data from the Barwon Infant Study

Data from mother-child pairs (n=58 infants that developed food allergy, and n=258 controls) found that maternal carriage of P. copri during pregnancy was associated with marked protection against food allergy in the offspring at 1 year of age.
